The gross vehicle mass (GVM) is the maximum weight the vehicle can weigh whilst carrying a full load and when exceeded can result in an unsafe and illegal vehicle.
To prevent this, GVM upgrades are available that are compliant with ADR (Australian Design Requirements) for a variety of new, unregistered vehicles.
